At Kamat, Post: Jamgaon, Taluka: Roha, off Kolad Mulshi road, District Raigadh Kolad Maharashtra India Kundalika is a beautiful river originating in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra and ending into the Arabian Sea near the creek at Roha. The river flows through thick forests and rice fields of a region of what was earlier the princely state of Bhor.
It is the only river in Maharashtra on which white water rafting is possible. This river has two hydroelectric power stations at Bhira and Ravalje. Rafting is done on the let off of these hydroelectric projects. The rafting experience is very nice with 13 km stretch with nice grade III and grade IV rapids.
Our property is a luxury tented camp on the banks of Kundalika River and is situated at the end of the rafting run. We have 20 Tents with attached toilet and bathrooms. We also provide adventure activities like rappelling, valley crossing, kayaking, campfire and barbecue etc.
Kundalika Rafting Camp, located at Kolad in Kamath Village, is the Nature Trails Resorts stunning campsite on the banks of the Kundalika River. This Campsite boasts 20 full-service luxury tents complete with all comforts and W.C, bath, intercom and locker facility. A 2-acre campus houses the Luxury tents and dining and camping areas. The surrounding area is a forest. A short trek through the campus forests leads one into the Kundalika river where one can spend an evening kayaking and dipping. Trained instructors and proper safety equipment make this a safe and fun activity. Wild boars, deer and atleast 20 species of birds can be easily spotted around the campus. Flying fox and raft building are other activities that can be indulged in by people of all ages. In fact, the flying fox is an instant hit with the children as little as 3 years of age.

HOW TO GET TO THE RAFTING PUT IN POINT
From Mumbai: Our Rafting Operations Base at Sutarwadi is 138 kms from Mumbai.
Take the NH 17 Goa Highway road till Kolad. 1 Km after the Kolad Market turn left on the NH 60 on to the Pune Highway. From here it is 8 kms to Sutarwadi village which is our rafting reporting office. You have further drive another 8 kms for our rafting put-in point at the Sajey Village.
From Pune: Rafting Operations Base at Sutarwadi is 100 Kms from Pune Take the road to Mulshi Dam and drive down the ghats till the turnoff to Sajey Village.
Starting Time : 08:00 am every morning. Due to the water flow being controlled by the Bhirey Dam. We must start our rafting on schedule or face the possibility of trip cancellation due to lack of water flow. Please report at the start point by 07:45 am
Important Note: Rafting on Kundalika is dependent upon water being released from the Mulshi Dam. Nature Trails and MHE will not be held responsible for the last minute cancellation of rafting due to less water. Organizers will make a 100% refund for un-utilized services in case rafting is cancelled at the last moment due to water conditions.
What To Bring: T-Shirts and Shorts for rafting. Also, bring sport shoes or floaters as footwear. A change of dry clothes and a towel. Also drinking water and eatables.
